@ asifkhan (#1480): You have explained one of the reasons why this thread is TRUE! You have captured the essence of The Path that this thread will take others.

Excuse my incoherent grammar and flawed logic, I am in a bit of a rush.

I’ve noticed that you’ve taken many of my comparisons in a more literal sense, whereas I emphasized the thinking rather than the thinkers. Of course, the wars will prolong and the waste will accumulate. I do not speak of the man himself - as in, the physical body. It is his ideas, rather, that endure the test of time and ultimately alter history. And these ideas, of course, cannot be destroyed by any physical means.

Many thinkers are activists as well. I would like to use Martin Luther King Jr. once again as an example [for consistency, not because there are insufficient examples of revolutionary free thinkers in history :D]. His views definitely conflicted with those of many others during his time. But, I can see what you are saying. There may have been twenty Martin Luther Kings but only one who had the courage to fight for his ideas. In this case, we see that the other 19 were free thinkers as well. But, there are several other factors that explain why they didn’t speak out. Perhaps you are saying that merely thinking alone is impractical. But, lethargy is not a characteristic unique to revolutionaries. What is any revolution without the thinker to question the [what people now perceive as ->] flawed “ideal”?

I didn’t think this conversation would extend for so long. Do you want to continue?

ChaosTheory, you know that I wanna continue! (well, I can see that we are heading no where, but still, I just wanna try even then!) I’ll also come back on Sunday (hopefully) (Welcome Day for NCSSM is THIS FRIDAY! OMG! I must study for the placement test on Friday night!!!) And then, I’ll be having a crappily busy week! Anyway, I’ll still get time to answer u, and if I see that I actually wanna answer you at that time, it means that I’m actually interested to continue the discussion, but see, when u r dealing w/ philosophical discussions, which can be interepreted in thousand different perspectives other than math/science debate, so I guess if anyone goes down that’d be NO ONE! (well, YOU’d definitely go down but I’m just trying to show the compassion to poor CT ;)) What did u decide w/ the SAT? Taking it twice or once in the next year?

I think it was the lil that confused me. It reminded me of rainbows and flowers and I visualized you in a pink little dress running around…

Shouldnt you people be trying to get even weirder?? Work on it please!

YOU KILLED THE THREAD! That or CC is sleeping, and either way, I feel special. I just woke up an hour ago to study for a couple of exams since I was too sleepy last night.
