I’m researching schools and have started considering applying to Episcopal. What are your thoughts about this school? It seems to have a good blend of academics and social life. Does anyone have experience with this school? Was it a positive experience?
Which one? VA?
They use an unusual academic calendar/schedule. It’s similar to the one used at George School and Cambridge School of Weston. Students are very enthusiastic about it although they say it can be rough if you tend to miss a lot of school.
If it is the one in VA, we visited with our D30, she liked it a lot, applied, was accepted, and considered it one of her top options although she ultimately chose another school.
My impressions are it is extremely well-resourced, the campus is great, the academic options are excellent, the community values seem really solid, and they do a great job making use of their proximity to DC.
If that sounds good, I would definitely consider it.
