Thoughts on Bloomsburg and York College of PA?

Looking for any feedback on Bloomsburg and York College of Pennsylvania nursing programs. Also admitted to IUP and East Stroudsburg but they are lower on the list.

Both are solid and direct-entry AFAIK.
York will be smaller and more personalized. Bloomsburg is a medium sized college with all that entails. Some students prefer the environment at one or the other but there’s no wrong choice.
Have you been able to visit?

We attended an open house at Bloomsburg but nothing nursing specific.

Going to York tomorrow.

They both seem like solid schools. Bloomsburg’s nursing has grown and I’m concerned about how the size feels to the student and if staff is accessible.

York has a nice residential college feel to it. The campus is large and green, the architecture is plain. The kids we met seemed like they enjoyed the school and there were a lot of students about. It has a high acceptance rate overall, but, they are selective in engineering and nursing, and I’ve seen a few decent B+ students be surprised to get rejected from those majors. York is a small city, so there are sidewalks, hospitals, stores, bars nearby. There has been a lot of investment and building of programs recently, especially in their accredited Graham Business school. They’ve done a good job in increasing their name recognition in the last decade and I believe the name will grow in value over time.

I haven’t been on the Bloomsburg campus, but, I’ve visited the town. It’s much more rural than York, and surrounded by mountains. It’s a typical small Pennsylvania town, sitting up on a plateau.
