Its basically what the title is asking, is writing a first choice letter to my first choice school even worth it?
At this juncture no. It’s so overdone and the AO has no way of knowing that you didn’t send to every school.

Should I still send it to my top school? Or will it be frowned upon? Like Ik for one school, they said they don’t really look into as much as they used to but it is still important in the admissions process.
It likely will make no difference. I doubt it will hurt. But I also doubt it will help.

I might as well send them, since I just wanna let the school know that they’re my first choice, and who knows it might help.
I think you are going to pester these schools into rejecting you. Contact them again ONLY if you have a new, clearly significant achievement to share with them. Otherwise, leave them alone, for your own good.

@ameridad is spot on with this advice.
The schools are busy now and just getting organized to begin reading applications. They need time to do their work.
Distract yourself with something else while you wait.
