Thoughts on this (Regarding to Physics)

In September I will be a Junior in high school (11th grade). I am already taking Chemistry, and thinking about taking Physics also. I have basic trigonometry knowledge (I will also be taking A2T (Algebra 2, Trig) at the same time as this course. The first half of the year is College Physics I, and the second half is College Physics II. I have some money lying around and I want to get a review book for the both of the courses, and help would highly appreciated. Thanks! :).
Alex.

College Physics is kind of vague. It’d probably use some advanced algebra or could even use calculus.

I’d wait a year.

Do you mean the course is vague, or my description?

The description is vague because, you see, College Physics is divided into 3 to 5 different types of Physics.

There’s:
Mechanics- (Kinematics & Dynamics)
Electricty
Magnetism - Study of Magnetic Fields
Optics- Study of Reflection/Refraction
Quantum Mechanics- aka Physical Chemistry

And at the college level, Mechanics, Electricity, and Magnetism all require Calculus if you are majoring in Science/Engineering.

Intro physics is taught at the college level with or without calculus. If “college physics” is calculus based physics you should not take it–you need at least concurrent calculus.
