Spanish immersion programs with a healthcare component may help better than Korean language program.

Sorry, but Stanford is among the top schools known for rampant grade inflation. You can look up the research if you want. Doesnât mean students donât have to work for their grades or take away from your studentâs success there.

There will be 60% of science classes getting less than an A. so many wont qualify for medicine irrespective of the perception. Why would people be going to Stanford and work against tough competition at 80k per year for a 50-60% of making it into medicine if that is the goal.

Unless you lay out the colleges he is debating about, it is difficult to discuss hypotheticals.

Daughter got into Rowan Cooper BS/MD. Thanks to all in this forum. She also interviewed with RPI/Albany but hasnt heard back yet. Also got in Brookelyn BS MD but there is no MD yet for them this year. Also got in to LECOM. Thanks this forum has been wonderful.

My son has so far received an acceptance into SLU med scholars program and few undergrads like Pitt, RPI, Stonybrook etc. with some aid
He applied only for 1/2 EAPs besides a wide BS/MDs however given where we are , are there any EAPs that can still take applications? He is a NMF, SAT 1570 and a reasonable GPA, very good research and some ECs. I understand it is quote late in game but appreciate any suggestions as the dilemma is mounting now after many rejections on BS/MDs. Thanks
Rowan/Cooper Requirements:
Complete Rowan course work and the designated prerequisites by Cooper
Maintain GPA > 3.6 for college of science and Math cohort, GPA > 3.4 for BME
Take MCAT and obtain a score >= 70th percentile
Complete atleast 40 hours of Service focussed on the needs of underserved populations

When are UMKC decisions expected?
They do send rejections.
They also maintain a waitlist after the interviews.

Hello. I am a current high school senior who applied to bsmd programs. Would anyone happen to know when SBU interviews come out? I got into the honors college but wasnât sure what that meant for my BSMD application
SBU interviews came out March 13.

My son was waitlisted at Brooklyn College (email came today). Does their BA-MD program still have linked admission to SUNY Downstate or is there no linked medical school at the moment?
