Three Diplomas

I’m a high school student currently enrolled in 3 diplomas (including the american and IB). I am aiming for a school that accepts all 3 of those diplomas, however I would like to focus in just one. If I decide to go in with the American diploma, I would have to take the ACT and subject tests, and I don’t want to mix all that with the IB. Would the fact that I take the IB certificate when I had the option to take the diploma look bad even though I met the requirements they ask for the American diploma?

What colleges? Many require SAT/ACT regardless.

EHL in Switzerland

colleges and universities in the US recognize the IB diplomas, don’t worry about that.

However, for international applicants many of them will also require the TOEFL and ACT or SAT and possibly some SAT subject exams. You need to check their websites to find out what their requirements are.

Admission to universities in Europe will be easier with the IB diploma. Don’t drop that for the US program unless you plan to only apply in the US.

Not sure I understand your question 100%. However, if IB diploma is offered and you choose to do a lesser course, then you will not be seen as taking the “most rigorous” course available to you. For US admissions rigour is a relatively big deal.
