I have one kid in college and the financial aid package for a second kid was established based on the premise that a third kid would be attending college. Now we are not so sure the third kid will be attending due to health reasons and if so, for only a few local community classes at first. How will this change the financial aid package we received?
It depends totally on the school. Perhaps go back and run the net price calculator with and without the 3rd child in college, for an idea of how it may change. Also, email the FA office and ask directly.
