Three Tiers- Chance me

So, I have a varied resume. It is a bit lop-sided as you will soon find out. Chance me on each of these three schools.

Caltech

Harvey Mudd

University of Washington

My Standardized Test scores

Math IIC-800
Physics-800
U.S. History-650. Taken without taking a U.S History class. Will likely be superceded by an 800 in World History or 750+ in Chemistry.

SAT-2110. 770 Math, 710 CR, 630 Wr. Go this score when I was 15, I was quite happy. I’d get a higher score if I retested now. I Will probably do so, but I cannot say what my score would be in that case.
ACT-33
I.B Test scores 7 in Math, others are anticipated quite high.
Qualified for NMSQT. Will receive a letter of commendation.

GPA- 3.93 Unweighted. 4.3 Weighted. I am taking the hardest classes offered. IB HL classes in as much as I can, I took many I.B classes freshman & sophomore year as well.

I’m Indian, I grew up in a low-income neighborhood, though my dad makes a lot of money, and I’m tri-lingual. Maybe quad if you count French, which my teacher thinks she can get us to be able to speak by the end of our senior year.

My application will likely not be competitive with those of Ivy-League applicants, but it will certainly be good. My teachers have a pretty high opinion of me, and it helps that the rest of my high school is full of wastrels, so I’ll probably look pretty good in comparison.

Here comes the problem.

Extracurriculars- Nothing substantial over 3 years of high school. Literally NOTHING. One year of speech and debate, 1 year of tennis, did some “volunteer work” for maybe 10-12 hours, but nothing that I have stuck to or done much of.

One thing worth noting here might be that I was a chess player. I got first, second or third in my age group for 6 years straight. I got 15th in nationals for my age group, and I still play, but not competitively. That all was before 9th grade though. My Junior year, I helped my chess teacher at my elementary school by coaching a group of kids. I led them to the state tournament, where they promptly got slaughtered.

But yeah, nothing really as an extracurricular. So chance me. Unless it is hard to guess with the lop-sided resume problem.

Anybody…?

Your grades are good enough for the schools you are applying to, but having virtually no EC’s is gonna hurt a lot. At Harvey Mudd and CIT, people will be applying with very similar grades but excellent EC’s. Both of those schools are almost as selective as Ivies. I think it would be very difficult for you to get into those schools, sorry. I don’t know anything about UW.

Chance back?

I honestly think it will be very difficult to get into these three schools, you really just need extracurriculars because everyone will have the grades and probably stronger scores. I would shoot for some good state schools with honors programs or some slightly “lesser” level universities; there are so many amazing schools out there
