Thursday decisions

I truly, sincerely hope that everyone scheduled to receive decisions Thursday gets absolutely awesome news from at least one school.

Here’s some positive karma to every parent, son and daughter waiting - surely all families will have at least one happy decision to celebrate :)

If, for some reason, the Thursday notifications aren’t what is wished for, that almost certainly means that there is something even better in store.

Joining LTS in a sincere and enthusiastic GOOD LUCK CC STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS!!!

Hope all of your hopes, dreams and wishes come TRUE!!! :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :)

Wait, why the 29th? Is that the big decision day this year? Or the Ivy day or something?

^Yes, “the Ivy day” lol.

Good luck to everyone. But I’d like to throw in the idea that it’s not a life or death situation – most kids end up really liking whatever college they attend. There are many, many wonderful schools, and the particular college anyone attends does not necessarily determine the rest of their lives. You’ll all do great, and have a wonderful college experience wherever you go. :)

Some kids getting into their dream schools will NOT be happy and some kids getting into no schools WILL be happy.

I wish everyone the best and I’ve got my fingers crossed. But remember, whatever happens, your kids are going to be watching their parents for cues on how to deal with the results. Keep a good perspective and model for your children how to handle the big points.

My son has heard from 8 of 9 schools already. Only one left… could be the 29th… or the 30th… or the first.

Awwwwwwwww, sweetie, you could write a book on this…and I’d want an autographed copy!!! :slight_smile: {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}

love, ~berurah

Best of luck to all CC families.

The 29th will be a tough day for many kids and a very happy one for others. It truly is a mixed bag.

Remember to remind your kids that when one door closes, another door opens.

Yes to all of the above.

And as Andi says, do model for the kids how to handle the big points.

Because this ain’t the biggest moment, even close.
