<p>ok, so i just got a TI89-Titanium and I am having a little trouble. This seems like a stupid question probably so here it goes:</p>
<p>How do you get it to calculate decimals??? If I divide 568 by 3, it just gives me 568/3. Or if I put in sin(15rad), it just puts out sin(15). Thanks for your help!!!</p>
<p>well u could change the mode into decimals by pressing the ‘mode’ button and then going down until you see “Exact/Approx” then pick Approx…but i wouldnt reccomend that because it might get annoying when u need fractions…so what u do is just press diamond (green key) + enter (which bascialy gives u the approximation sign,decimals) on the number u want in decimals
like if u want 586/3 …put it and press Diamond + enter
aand if u want like sin(15rad) put it in and intstead of pressing enter press Diamond+enter instead…which basically means push diamond b4 enter (btw make sure that the angle is set to radians…)</p>
