<p>There’s that table in the Common Appl for our teachers to tick… Does it really matter? What if my teacher doesn’t place all his ticks in the final column? And what if he does- won’t it look fake and insincere?.. i know i cant do anything about it… But we could just discuss about it… Thanks</p>
<p>I wouldn’t worry - I’d focus your energies instead on trying to pick or “coach” a teacher who will actually write something meaningful about what makes you a unique candidate.</p>
<p>I second posterx. Dont waste time “discussing it”—apply your efforts to more important matters.</p>
<p>My recoms are done… I know there’s no point thinking about the ticks… But i just would like to know about their importance in the admission officers making their decisions…</p>
