I’m considering having the Expanded Basic Package in my room, but I’m not sure if its worth it. If I did have cable in my room it would only be for a few of the cable networks and I’m not even sure if I would always have the time to watch TV. Do most kids get the Expanded/Total Movie Package and are they satisfied with it?

most people get the expanded basic package. get the movie package only if there are certain HBO shows that you cannot live without…and will be playing this academic year… (sopranos i think, maybe a new season of curb)

just checked HBO:
new season of Sopranos in Spring 2006
new season of Curb starts this Sept

How much is the expanded basic package?

Do TVs in common rooms have the movie channels?

TVs in common rooms do not have movie channels. they have expanded basic package. www.princeton.edu/tigertv. the only common tvs that might have movie channels are the TVs in the eating clubs.
