Also, I herad that you cannot take any classes that are related to your major till your junior year if youre enrolled in the LSP program. Is this true?

+

Where can i get the info for each LSP campus? I want to know how many sutdents are studying in each campus so i can decide where to go. Thanks!

Not true. The only real difference with LSP from CAS-MAP (or whatever school you were originally applying to) is that you’ll be taking your general education classes in the first two years and that they will be more liberal art oriented. Every student, LSP or not, takes these classes and they work towards your 4-year bachelor degree in the end.

In between these required courses, your elective is up to you. The ideal thinking is that you fill these spaces with classes pertaining to your major.

The reality of the situation is that freshman year, you will be pretty limited in picking major classes. However, in sophomore year, you’ll have a lot more space and freedom, in which you can start taking a lot more classes in your original school of choice. Depending on your major, you should be able to fully transfer over anywhere between second semester of sophomore year to first semester of junior year.

Try the NYU website for information regarding the campuses. Hope this helps.
