Time is hurting my score, how can i test faster?

<p>Heres some data from a Princeton Review practice test I took with little studying, first time taking an ACT test:
Composite: 22
English: 21 : answered 53 questions, guessed on the rest. Of the ones I answered, 42 were correct.
Math: 22 : answered 41 questions, guessed on the rest. Of the ones I answered, 29 were correct.
Reading: 22 : answered 30 questions, guessed on the rest. Of the ones I answered, 24 were correct.
Science: 23 : answered 21 questions, guessed on the rest. Of the ones I answered, 21 were correct.</p>

<p>I took PR’s advice and used “triage,” where I answer the ones I can, and leave the ones that will be harder for later, then guess on questions I really cant do, and leave time to fill in every answer. So at about 4 minutes before each section ended I filled in all the ones I know I wouldnt get to with the same answer. I made sure every question had an answer (except for one mistake in the math section I forgot to bubble one in)</p>

<p>Of course I need to study to get better, but as you can see (especially the Science section) time hurts my score.</p>

<p>I know that when I study, the whole “triage” thing doesn’t really work for me. It probably works well for other people, but I know that I feel like I’m wasting time since I have to go back and read it again. The best thing that has worked for me is to do the easy sections first (especially in science and reading where you can choose passages) but answer all of the questions while it’s fresh in my mind.</p>
