<p>Hey guys, I was wondering if you know any better ways in efficiently finding the correct answer in the sentence improvement questions. </p>
<p>Right now, I am just readying through every choice and marking off the ones I know are correct, then I go back and find the best choice of the ones that are left. (which takes more reading of the answers.) </p>
<p>It usually takes me about 1.30 minute for each question. And then I have to rush through the rest of the section, and make careless mistakes. Any advice???</p>
<p>Find the error in the original sentence. Then go through the other 4 choices crossing off the ones that repeat that error. There should be only 1 or 2 left. Now cross off any that introduce new errors. There should only be 1 left. If there are two that seem the same, pick the shorter one as long as it doesn’t change the meaning of the sentence.</p>
<p>what if I cant find the error? I normally go by sound and i get 98% correct. It just takes a long time tho.</p>
<p>look for the smallest anwser 90% of the time is correct!</p>

<p>If it not the smallest its the 2nd smallest or the biggest</p>
<p>if you cant find the error in the sentence, look at the answer choices and eliminate ones that definitely introduce errors. This usually leave only 1 or 2 left. then look for the simplest one.</p>
