<p>Don’t know if this helps or causes more confusion: Daughter received acceptance to Viterbi on Friday the 19th. Envelope postmarked Wed the 17th. That seems to fly in face of idea that waves go out on Fridays--------or does it?</p>
<p>Since Friday, the 12th, the waves seem to have given way to a slowly rising tide, or a slow seepage… maybe we should call it an “ooze” at this point…</p>
<p>anyone else still stuck at “being reviewed”? I hope this isn’t a bad sign…</p>
<p>@alamemom it does seem to be like an “ooze” a slow and painful viscous ooze 
lots of kids at my school applied to SC only about 2-5 heard last week.
about 10 -15 probably heard in the first wave.
Probably close to 50 - 70 kids applied in my school. </p>
<p>So, i’m assuming the bulk of acceptances are yet to come.
My school is a feeder school to SC so I would think that if people were accepted I would be hearing about it. </p>
<p>My guess is that applicants are at a record high this year and its taking them a while to sort through all the applications. I’ve been at reviewed since FOREVER @kmart153. </p>

Someone was accepted but their status didnt change from being reviewed.
So I’m not sure.</p>
<p>(taylor29: was accepted March 19th to the USC film school. but her application status says it is still being reviewed. I guess they don’t update your status. My weighted GPA is a 4.2 and my unweighted is a 3.8. My SAT score was 2170. I have twin cousins that live around the corner from me, and they still have not heard from USC. There GPA is about the same as mine, but there test scores were not as good. Good luck to everyone! )</p>

<p>I think everyone is already a little worried lol, even if the “big wave” hasn’t already come. I myself am extremely doubtful of my acceptance (trying to be hopeful though!); I will start getting extremely worried/convinced I’m rejected if I don’t hear back after next monday/tuesday since that’s when acceptances usually land in Norcal. However, since it seems we were wrong about there being a wave sent out on the 19th <em>last friday</em>, I really don’t know what to expect in terms of the arrival of decisions. </p>
<p>Guess all we can do is be patient (good luck with that =) )</p>

<p>There are no waves as far as this year goes. It’s been sporadic over the past couple weeks. There might be a day coming soon when a large volume of acceptances are sent out though, seeing that a lot of qualified people haven’t been accepted yet.</p>
