Timex watches

Does anyone know how to turn off the alarm so that when I set the timer to 1 hr, the beeper does go off at the end? I’ve tried so many combinations of buttons but can’t figure it out (I don’t even know if it is possible). Please help me!

thanks!

Probably not possible, why don’t you just use the stopwatch? Anyways, the last time I took a test the proctor called time early by about a minute each time.

When I use the stopwatch and press start/stop, it makes a sound too. Any way to get rid of the chime?

dude it makes a tiny beep when you start. You can stop it after time has been called. Nobody is going to be like “*** was that noise, omg I’m gonna flip out cause there was a tiny noise!” I used my timex watch and it made the beep and nobody noticed.

The proctor (he proctors every SAT) was really strict about making noises and said if that anyone’s watch beeper went off, their tests would be cancelled. bahh.

and i am so bad at remembering the time/gauging my time when we start at like 12:36 or whatever.

Dude, just push the watch button. He won’t know where it came from and he won’t call you out for it if it is right at the beginning. If an alarm goes off or something, that would be bad. one little beep is not worth worrying about.

ugh I don’t know, he’s super strict and I don’t want to have to worry about this crap.
plus, last time there were only 4 of us in the room…i’m pretty sure he would know where it’s coming from.

anyone else?

couldnt you just bring a watch and note the start time and figure out when you’re stopping? It’ll only take like an extra 5 seconds…

I have a Timex Ironman Triathlon…

if your watch is at all similar, try pressing buttons on the alarm mode screen. That’s where, at least on mine, I can turn chime on and off, and alarms on and off.
