Timing yourself on the SAT Subjects

Last year, I took SAT Chemistry and SAT World History and it was horrible! I didn’t even notice an hour pass by so quickly. How typically do you time yourself for each questions? hard ones? easy ones? Do you skip and if so, how many? How many questions do you typical answer in SAT World History (out of 95) and Chemistry (out of 85…was it?)

i’m doing my world history in december, and its the first time i’m ever gonna take it. plus i’m a senior. so yeah, u could say i’m in deep ****. KidNovelist, is it rly that hard to time yourself on the World History test? how badly did you do on it, if u dint do so well? i’ll die if i dont get a 700+!!

I’m not sure about those 2, I am practicing for other ones that are also 85 questions…I just read the question, select my answer and re-read the question with the answer…usually 35/45 seconds for each…so that in the end of the test I can go back to a question or 2 I missed out

But for something like chemistry, it takes a while to answer a question. Any one with any other methods? ie. how much time do you spend on each math IIC or IC question?

around a minute per question. sometimes you can take less than 10 seconds for the easy ones so that means bonus time.
