Tips and Suggestions for My College Search

Hello College Confidential message boardees.

I am going into my senior year and hope to narrow my college search this summer. I have a cumulative GPA of roughly 3.4, and a 32 on my ACT. I plan to take it one more time this summer or the beginning of my senior year, as math was my lowest section by about six points (something that should be a relatively easy fix, geometry was my weak spot and the last time I took a geometry focused course was in 8th grade). I’m hoping for some guidance as to useful college search tools, schools that may be good matches for me, and anything else you think may be useful to the college search/admissions process.

Thanks so much!

Use the SuperMatch tool on College Confidential to narrow it down a bit. (http://collegeconfidential.com/college_search)

Your stats are decent/good but try to get the GPA up more. Definitely have safety schools in-state that you like and are affordable. Matches are hard to predict because of your GPA and ACT score.

Thanks for the replies, will check our the sticky threads. Working on the GPA and I do like my state school, so I am comfortable with my safeties, just wanting to explore my options
