Tips for AP Lit!

For ppl are gonna take AP Lit test

If you are the kind of person like me, who just hates english so much, you can just get 1 for that test because I know even I try very hard, I still get a 2.

I got 5 on Cal BC, Bio, Chem
I got 1 on USHisory (that class is ridiculous)

SO!!! the best way is to take a 1st year English class @ community college in order to pass the english placement for your college! (you transfer it afterward)

Because all they do for AP Lit credit is for your english placement…(you dont get credit for english!!!)

That depends completely on your college of preference. While there are school that may use English APs simply for placement and not credit, most will grant both. The University of California system, for instance, grants credit for ALL passing scores on AP exams. However, University of San Diego (Revelle) will not allow you to replace an of their own rigorous humanities courses and therefore grant elective credits. Granting elective credits and not granting credits at all are a big difference in my opinion.

To tell you the truth I can’t see how you got a 1 on the US History exam. Even if you had the most horrible teacher in the entire world, you should have been able to score 3 with diligent reading.

There’s nothing wrong with taking Literature at a junior college but if your school doesn’t offer English 4 H like mine then AP Lit is pretty much the only choice.

Ya I agree with the OP. AP Lit is pretty hard. It’s only for certain people who are really good in English and I think it’s hard to pass. It’d be better to take the class at a CC.

I mean take the class during summer @_@"

uhhh no offense, but no wonder you got a 1 or a 2 or whatever it is you got on apush and english. your english sucks dude, judging from your post which makes no sense.

at least you’re good at science and math=)

and way to post a stupid, absolutely pointless thread. obviously if we were in it soley for just college credit, we’d all just give up all our ap’s and take the classes at community colleges.
