Before I did the first test I used Kaplan and The Real Act book
The second test I used PR.

I have bought ASMCO Reading/English and Math/Science books and Peterson’s ACT Toolkit (anyone if this is any good, the reviews were bad for it on Amazon)

Do you think just going through these book would be enough? I really want to raise my score to at least a 25. I would hope if I practiced all summer and took it in October I would at least be able to raise it one more composite point. What study methods worked well for others who had trouble get the score they wanted? Is going through the “prep books” enough or should I do a “full review”.

The AMSCO raised my Math by about 4 points on the real test, from a 23 to a 27.

To bring the score up to the 30s though, i’d do a full review on Math. It’ll take a lot of time to study everything, but it’s worth it.

I agree with mo24, realize that this is you future, a simple score can change alot so all of the studying is worth it. Study diligently with the PR book and the Real ACT book. And read one or two novels.
