Tips for on-campus apartment living?

<p>Starting this fall I’ll be living in Allegany Hall in an apartment double. The apartment itself is made up of 3 singles and 2 doubles. I am new to apartment living so I am not sure what to expect. </p>

<p>Do you have any tips of what I should/should not bring or what I should do to prepare myself for it? I tried contacting my roommate but she hasn’t replied to me at all. I wonder if I should try contacting my other apartment mates?</p>

<p>I have already looked at the Resnet page for apartment living, so don’t bother linking me to that. I just want some tips from your personal experience.</p>

<p>You will need bathroom cleaning supplies and toilet paper…no housekeeping like in traditional/high rise dorms. You should find out who other people are in your apartment…maybe someone will want/have tv for common living room…also helpful to have extra large trash can for common living area. A vaccuum is also good not only for room but common living area.</p>
