Tips for preventing people from seeing you type your password

At home I don’t have this problem, but I know that in college there will be many opportunities for unwanted eyes to watch me while I type in my password for my computer (yes, I am paranoid when it comes to computers :D). Are there any tips for how to avoid this in the college setting?

Type quickly, and don’t finger type? Even if someone was watching my hands, I don’t think they could make out what I was typing.

Place a napkin over where you’re typing :P

my only advice is a longer password(8-12 chars) and typing it quickly

Ya, don’t finger type. My password has been the same all my life so my fingers just zoom on my keyboard. No one is going to stare at your hands while you type. If they ever do steal your computer, they’ll just remove your hard drive instead of struggling to get the PW.

I’d be paranoid of people stealing your computer…

And dont make a dumb password like “tacos”. Jus in case lol.
