I’m a CC student thinking about transfer.
I’ll be applying to a few cal states and some are a bit far away. (For ex. I live in LA and I’ll apply to San Fran State.)
How do people do it? I currently have a job in LA and when time comes to transfer, I’d have to quit that job.
Does anybody have any tips about this process of making a big move? How long did it take you to find a job in the new area? Find a new place? That’s what I’m most afraid of. Trying to find a job while moving, transferring to a new school, and living in a new area worries me.
I want to make a move that’s very cost-effective and efficient.
Any suggestions? And how have people done it? Are loans the only way? I guess I might have to take out a few…Please share your experiences.
