I’m currently a international student living in Portugal . When I turn 18 , I’ll ask for visa and change my citizenship to American . My goal is to get into NYU , in Tisch . The problem is , being Portuguese, the college admissions here are very different from the US . I’m asking , if its possible , a little help into the all admission process to the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music. I also need help in some aspects like the deadline, for exemple, when am I suporte to send the common application , how do I get financial aid, how to do the video submission for tisch recorded music . Thanks !

All of these can be found on NYU’s website (look for specifics on Tisch.)

There is usually no financial aid available to international students, expect to pay full price, around $60,000 USD per year, for four years.

In order to get a visa, you need to be ‘sponsored’, usually by a school. Just because you get a visa does NOT mean you can become an American citizen. For certain countries, the wait list for citizenship application is over a decade long.

Tisch is one of the most renown art schools both in the US, and throughout the world for those programs which it specializes in – you’ll need a very impressive portfolio to send to the NYU admissions board when you apply.

The rest of the information you need can be found on NYU’s website, [New York University](http://www.nyu.edu)

Thank you guys !
