<p>I have been in every production at my high school since freshman year. My biggest roles have been Anne Sullivan in the Miracle Worker, Dotty Otley in Noises Off, and Mrs. Mayor in Seussical. I have also been a stage manager, light board operator, and makeup artist.</p>
<p>I have taken method acting classes, and dance classes at the local cultural arts center as well as private voice lessons.</p>
<p>I am in the Honors Thespian Society, and am the VP of my troupe. </p>
<p>I have a 3.7 unweighted GPA, and am in the IB program with a rigorous course load.</p>
<p>My reccomenders are my IB drama teacher, and my spanish teacher who is the technical director of the drama dept at my school. </p>
<p>I have a lot of community service, and sports awards which I included on my application. And Ive been employed.</p>

<p>Some of my favorites are In The Heights, Spring Awakening, West Side Story, the usual. haha. </p>
<p>Right now actually, I’m on a Passing Strange kick. It’s so great! Just watched the filmed last performance this weekend. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it. :)</p>

I thought the most competitive was Drama at Tisch and although they accept more to the film and dramatic writing, I think more apply for Drama and its more competitive.
Thats just what I think but im not certain</p>
<p>For dramatic writing kids, what did you cite as your experience in collaboration? I had difficulty with that one seeing that writing isn’t always a group-sport</p>
<p>I was waitliated for drama, so ill just have to wait and see- apparently they only take 16 people for drama so I’m really nervous about my place on the waitlist… Oh well. I seriously haven’t seen any other posts by drama students here. Has anyone?</p>
