TiT#18 ver2

uhh…I saw ryt now…umm Korean comics are called Manhwa not Hanhwa…muttersstupid spelling mistakes.

Meghna, thank you so much!
Remain in touch on FB, and if you have any more questions on that gap yr, I’d be happy to help! And use CC like your life depends on it. It is an awesome resource, as long as you don’t get swayed by all those people who tell you that your profile is complete crap. One person I respect a lot gave me a lot of confidence over my profile very long ago, after which I was critical of most of what CCers said if it just looked like they’re shooting off their mouth. I owe this person a lot. <3
starry eyes
Just believe in yourself, squeeze out whatever you can out of this website, and don’t pay too much attention to those who pull you down. Be realistic, not overly optimistic, but not overly pessimistic either.

PS: I have read some fanfiction, but only of Inuyasha. That too, only Sess-Kag combination for some reason.

Hey pix.
Well nice. Seems Like you really are a die hard fan of Inu Yasha. I have read fanfics on lots of anime, books and even movies, but my prime focus is Naruto. Most of my favorite fanfics belong to Naruto, followed by Harry potter and dragonball z. even Ouran high school host club has good fanfics written on them.

And I am logging in CC almost everyday. Sadly, there is a possibility now that I won’t be attending next year. So I am sending applications all over India. If I am not able to go abroad next year, I will have to apply for PG. I will have to search “What then?”, so I will have to search CC, again (or is CC only about under graduation?)…sigh, my brain has been addled terribly. :(

I have joined Dance squeeeee finally!!! I love to dance. But, I don’t know any specific style. I had started learning Salsa, but had to leave mid-way (dont ask why)…but now, I will learn. Yuppie!

I have also asked one of my acquaintances to hlp me with locating NGOs. Her brother works as Manager in one of those Big-shot hotels in Chanakya Puri, so he has sources. Hopefully, I will be on my way to be a volunteer by end of this month. fingers crossed

Hi Meghna,

Oh no no, I only read Inuyasha fanfiction because it’s become somewhat of a habit, but I like Naruto loads better. I don’t feel like reading any fanfics of Naruto though. I feel that Naruto is so much better in terms of plot, combat moves, strategy and even in terms of what I talks about! Inuyasha seems slightly kiddish now, but I shall finish it before I leave.
Oh god, I’d been thinking that I’d be so very free after boards, but things are piling up so quickly that I’m soon going to be getting no time to breathe! Which is why I’m sleeping the days away. Just thinking of all that I have to do makes me tired. ;)

It’s great to hear that you’re working on ECs!
I agree, it is often a good idea to do undergrad here, and go for PG there. Are you giving any entrances (BBA, BBS,) this year?

Umm… I am giving entrance test for Symbiosis, Pune. Does that count? Also thinking to apply in Amity…but dun noe the admission procedure there.

Huh, I hope I DO get to do PG there. My mom has a tendency to uhh…forget stuff when the matters include large amount of money. I dont blame her, but it sure does get frustrating at times. I just hope the money matter gets resolved ASAP, or I am going to go Rang De basanti on Mayavati, if you knw what I mean.

Yeah, Symbi is a pretty good school! Econ there is well reputed.
I think Amity just looks at CBSE marks?

Oh btw, I think you should consider letting me ask my mom to ask her friend to ask the in charge of the NGO I was talking about if there are any positions available. They actually give you a certificate from the UN I think, and you get paid (small amt, but yes).Remember, paid internships are valued a tad higher than unpaid. You might want to take that into consideration. The work’s really easy if you know how to operate a computer.

pIX…please help me with NGOs!! SighThe guy who I was looking up for help, sadly has gone to Uttarakhand now, so my Aunt can’t help me. So…uhh yeah, I need ur help. Suggest some good NGOs, who are recognized enough. Please with a cherry on the top!! :D

^I’ll check it out then and PM you when I get the details. :)

NGOs honestly won’t matter much.

^Tack an “any old” at the beginning.

Its kind of difficult ani, for a person with family background like mine to get anything. My whole family… no…clan has produced only Engineers and Doctors. So there is no importance of extracurriculars for them. When I talked to mum about getting a part time job, my Gramps was here. He was so angry…Oo emm gee he was scary. He has strictly told mum that part time job, to put it mildly, is not a good idea. Protective old man…hmph. The number of molestation and Murder cases in Delhi isn’t working either. Every time the News about such incident in Delhi flashes on TV, my phone rings and he starts lecturing me like I-told-you-delhi-is-dangerous-so-keep-your-butt-in-home. But my Uncles will be able to bring this down if I am doing a good deed. They are spiritual type people, the kinds for who sight of an egg in fridge is a traumatic experience (Huh…) so yeah, thats my only option for ECs…the NGOs

Can’t believe, this thread is still going :)

Hi fp!!! How r u??? USC?

hey tippu, good, yaah for summer! no didn’t apply last year.how are you?

Hi fp! Loooong time!
Ah, it’s so nice to be back on CC! I love being able to use italics and other syntax and of course, the adorable smileys. :D

Hi Tippu! Nice to see you here too! ;)

Also, what are you majoring in??
Nice to see you after so long! I read a lot of bhangra talk while reading up TiT 18. :D

And Tippu is so rude. He doesn’t even reply back. I was so excited to see him back here.
