TiT#18 ver2

^^Can you reactivate it then? Won’t you have to start all over again? I hardly do fb anymore anyway. I spend my time o/l here or on college stuff. So deactivating CC a/c would be detrimental to my case, however much I wish I could get away from it for a few days. But I do have good self control, so I should be able to refrain if I wish. :D

Oooh, best of luck for your exams! Hope your GPA goes even higher! :)

IML- I’ll start off with. Physics, math, east asian studies and philosophy. I’ll probably go for double major. You?

There is a perfect school for this. :)

[Physics, Japanese and Philosophy](University of Chicago Table Tennis Club)

Wow, that’s interesting! Well, I plan to major in either Computer science/CompE or Industrial engineering if I get into one of the engineering colleges I’m applying to. Else I’ll major in economics, cognitive psychology or physics.

That school is a perfect school eh Tippu?

Oh goodie, they have a Stiga table. It’s what I’m used to playing on. It’s also an international level table.
But it seems the club has been inactive since 2007? Good advice for equipment though. I too have a Butterfly ply all wood Offensive+ with Mark V Advanced rubbers stuck with speed glue. (gibberish much?)
Anyway, you sly thing, that link had nothing to do with those subjects. :p

mine is also butterfly wood, with Juic and Montjuic rubbers - don’t know if they are any good. Haven’t played in a while. It is not very popular where we live now. One of our family friends who had played for India showed me how to play a few years ago. Unfortunately, I could never return his serves. TT players are wicked.

Oh, you play too? May I ask (okay, I am asking) which ply?
Mine is Jonyer Hinoki.
Juic seems to be a good rubber albeit a bit heavy. Good reviews on um, google.

But that is all the fun! My best match points are service points, haha. It’s exhilarating to see your opponent go down with your serve. At one time, I was all serve no play. My backhand spin serve is still my best “kill” serve, but I can thankfully say that I know how to play too now :D

[Home : Northwestern University](http://www.uchicagorejects.com) LOL

Ah crap- that’s not what I meant to send. www. Uchicagorejects .com

Check that out (don’t include spaces)

^That’s funny. How did that come about? And haha, wait how did you stumble upon it?

Aahh!! It’s 3:14 EST! I’d better get back to work! Robertsons scholars program has six bloody essays due 11:55.

there is a similar web site for mit rejects as well.

Duke Rejects - UNC
Columbia Rejects - NYU
Harvard Rejects - Tufts

Lol this is fun!

Btw I remember you making a comment about you never being able to live in the East Coast- haha, how come?
I personally could never live in the South. Just thinking about it makes me want to gag. I’m either living in NY, MA, or CA when I grow up.

Someone told me about it, Pixie.

Because I have spent more time on west coast (San Francisco) than anywhere else. West coast is far more beautiful, progressive and liberal. I have visited NYC, DC, Philly and Boston enough times to know what it is like over there.

People are uptight here, but I’ve grown up here, and I love it! Only West Coast state I wouldn’t mind is Cali. That’s about it.

New Yorkers are also known for being very fast paced.

Tippu, you’re a liberal? I thought you were a conservative. I would’ve even bet my money on it.

I read that Kushwant Singh has written yet another book. That’s incredible for a 96 year old man.

I am going to sleep now. The stupid website isn’t letting me submit and I guess the lady at the office I’ve been in contact with will take some time to reply so I’ll wake up at 7 and try again. If it doesn’t go through, then, well let’s just say I’m not going to be very nice tomorrow. Six essays in one day. Yuck. :(

Well! Ho gaya. Sigh. :)

Arunemooooo, what’s your fb?

^^Woah pixie that’s awesome. You * do * have courage girl. It’ll be great to have a Robertson Scholar by Feb on my friend list. Hope you make it. :)
