To All Harvard Acceptees

I was looking at the EC section on the common Harvard application. What did you guys include on your activities and how did you guys organize them? If you included a resume, what did you highlight?

Take a DEEP breath…then go outside and enjoy some sunshine.

When you should start worrying about this (no earlier than July), just use common sense.

Good luck.

Include all your main ECs in order of importance to you.

And yes, you started this process a lot earlier than me! Maybe that’s good though.

Well, i have strong commitment but minimal talent which is why im a little worried. Is it hard to make your app shine if you dont have an exceptional talent?

You’re the high school class of 08?

Oh good… if you were 08 I was going to come over to your house, unplug your computer, and scream at you to GET A LIFE!

As it is, isn’t APRIL a little early to be thinking about this? If you’re really that obsessive though, check out Michele Hernandez’ book, “Acing the College Application” – it has some really good insights about your question above, and takes you step-by-step through the Common Application.
