To all hockey players............

Who has the best facilities? During our tours they were not accessable.

berkshire
[Berkshire School - Athletics / Stewart Center Facilities](<a href=“Berkshire School - Boarding & Day School | Prep School in MA”>Berkshire School - Boarding & Day School | Prep School in MA)

and obviously if you are super serious about puck you should go to shattuck saint marys

Taft has a very(VVV) nice rink. Actually I think they have two. One for Varsity and another, older one for JV/thirds(?) and townspeople.

we actually toured Berkshire, agreed beautiful facility. We toured Taft last year and their hockey facility was VERY impressive…

The rinks at Exeter, Choate, Andover, Milton, Taft and Deerfield were all amazing. The locker rooms at most of them were first class, too. If I had to pick a top one out of those, I’d have to say Exeter. That said, all of them are awesome.

The Nobles School’s rink was least impressive out of the bunch because it had really bad seating.

I heard sps has a good hockey program but I am not sure about their facilities.

Do any bs’s have free skating on their rinks?

i think i heard something about andover having free skating. i could be mistaken of course

Salisbury’s brand new facility…

SPS has a very nice facility and members of the community can do free skate on Sundays. You can also skate outside on one of the ponds.

although sps isn’t my number one, their athletic facilities were AMAZING

Salisbury - heard they are amazing (as Fun posted), Berkshire (TWO rinks), Avon Old Farms (originally built as the Whalers practice rink) - all three great hockey schools as well.

Hotchkiss also has two rinks. Very nice.
