Sorry, @DonnaL. If anyone else is confused, it refers to those of us who have children with paws (or claws?) as well as (perhaps) human children.
I tried to be as inclusive as possible but I’m sure I missed some people. I apologize in advance for any groups I overlooked.
As far as my dog is concerned, every day is Mother’s Day. If I leave for five minutes to go get gas, he is waiting right there by the door and acts as though it’s been days since I was home.

We actually just had a surprise bachelor party for my fiance last night. It was wonderful, he loved it, and his whole grooms party (minus his “best” man- long story) and most of their SOs were there (this is what he wanted- he wanted us all to be there rather than having a guys-only thing.)
It’s just crunch time and I want the wedding to be here already. We’re in the homestretch and are in good shape but all the little details are piling up. Four weeks from yesterday- it’ll be here before we know it.
Side note- we also ordered his wedding ring a few days ago. He spent a whole 30 seconds finding it. Typical

I do not think my big old fat baby cat knew it was Mother’s Day today. She still just demanded food, jumped up on my bed and purred and rubbed me for awhile and then just yawned and slept.

Lol! I am a fur grandma - my cats (the duo in the avatar and the third one, not featured) are my kiddo’s fur babies.
I am relaxing with my two furbabies and two featherbabies right now!
