To all U-Dub 2011 Applicants

I’m an international student and its gonna take me a long time to know whether I got admitted into U-Dub or not. Because its via mail and for it to reach my county ITS GONNA TAKE FOR EVER !!!

So I wanted to ask all applicants that got rejected and those who got accepted.

for those who got accepted did the unofficial transcript trick work with u guys?

People !!! Plllz answer me !!! Im dying over here !!! :'(!!!

it loaded for me and my friends and then we were all accepted.

On the long admissions thread, there is at least one report of an acceptance whose unofficial transcript did not load. There are no reports that I’ve seen of rejections where the unofficial transcript did load. So, based on the small sample size of people posting there, if your unofficial transcript loads, you’re looking good. If it doesn’t, you still have a chance. Plus, as recently as yesterday (3-16) some peoples’ unofficial transcripts began loading for the first time.

I think what this all means is that if your unofficial transcript is not loading, just hold tight and wait for the letter.

Repeating my post from the long admissions thread: From the UW Admissions site: “If you live outside of the US, the admission decision will be sent via EMAIL during this two-week period.” Check the Admissions section for internationals, the bit headed Admission Decision: Notification Process and Timeline

@Catfish , thnx u made me more relaxed

@ samuk, I know they said via Email ! but my transripts uploaded and i still didn’t get anything, but whats making me worried the most is the fact that my mailing adress is in the states so im afraid that because my mailling adress is in the states they will notify me via mail and if that happened it would take me for ever to know about my admission’s decision!! so currently im confused!!

Rainyy, I guess if you’re an international student with a US mailing address you’ll get notified by mail rather than email. Sorry about your wait, it’s agonizing, I agree.

Thanx samuck :frowning: ! yup its so frustrating
