When are they gonna upgrade the buildings? The signs look like they were taken from the set of Terminator 2. That’s seriously the first thing that came to mind, especially the one for the computer lab.

^Haha! I don’t take too much issue with the buildings. The Technology Center buildings and rooms are niiiice.

Shout out to all you OCC peeps as well!

Oh, and still no grades. :frowning: I only have one grade for an 8 week course I took. Still waiting on the other ones.

Thanks! Mine are up now. GPA still good enough for TAG! UCSB, here I cooomee.

haha true about some buildings… Math wing class rooms are damn smelly … OCC is the best anyway!!!
yeah the grades are up now…!!!
Surprised to see this many people from OCC here… happy too…!!

Haha, I agree! I took a History course in that wing. I really do love OCC though. Then again, it’s always fun when you can register during the first week.

What classes are you guys taking this semester?

I’m taking Accounting 101 with Doug Johnson; and History 180 with Amina Adan.

Data structures, calc 4, history of rock music, mass communications

There’s a Calc 4?

I took History of Rock Music! So easy! I forget the professor’s name, but he’s really awesome!

Calc 3, intro Lin alg & diff Equa(people call it calc4. idk y), physics ele/mag &, chemistry 180…!!!

larinaga, are you taking Adan?? oh I took 175 with her over the summer… she has a very thick accent… it takes a little time to get used to it. Sometimes she acts very rude but i think she is a good teacher. for 175 we had just three exams and thats it. for us, she gave a study guide that had most of exam questions(probably because of summer and we had exams every week). I just studied for that and got an A. If she does not give any study guide make sure everyone in your class ask for a one… and same with extra credit… she did not give us any extra credit. A lot of people went and bothered her for some extra credit assignment. then she asked us to write an essay for extra credit. I hope that helps you… good luck!!

Hey zcarfaz,

I took her for History 185 last semester and got an A. Yeah, her accent is thick but you get used to it after a few weeks. Her tests can be a little tricky considering not everything on the study guide is on the test, but most of it is. I was shocked that some of my classmates did so poorly on the exams. I found them to be pretty easy! I’m taking 180 with her this semester.

Good luck in the Spring!
