To AP or Not to AP that is the question!

<p>Is AP a huge factor or is a nice bonus to Admissions when they look at a students high school records? </p>

<p>For example:
one student only takes 3 AP’s (AP BIO, AP LIT, AP GERMAN)
another takes none
the third takes +8</p>

<p>tell me the good, the bad and the ugly!</p>

<p>If all three have 4.0’s, who would you think had the most rigorous schedule? Who do you think is best prepared for college?</p>

<p>However, if they were all taking as many APs as possible, given the scheduling and offerings of their respective high schools, I believe each would be looked upon similarly. This is assuming their GPA, rank, SAT, etc. are comparable, though.</p>
