Hello fellow CC’ers,

I am a prospective student of BU, and I could not find some of the questions I have answered on BU’s website, so I decided to come here. I am interested in majoring in Biomedical/Biological engineering (and possibly double majoring in another engineering field), but I would like to be able to obtain my teaching license or degree when I graduate. I plan on going to graduate school in biomedical engineering and obtaining a job in that field, but I know someday I would really like to teach on the high school level or college level (I have always wanted to), though I hear my chances are pretty low at the college level. To current students-do you know if BU allows you to double major in BME and, say Science Education, at the same time? Or does it have a program to allow you to obtain your BME degree and get a teaching certificate? I understand that they have the STEEP program which does interest me, but I would rather get a masters in BME than Teaching/Sci. Edu than getting a MS in Sci Edu and a BS in BME (which really limits you job-wise). What options would I have if I were to go to BU?
