…That Is the Question…

Did you all have your short essays split into paragraphs or are they just one paragraph? I just want to see how the rest of the world is shaping their application. Thanks!

one large fat paragraph. I did this especially because i needed to cut characters.

anyone else perhaps?

paragraphs

EDIT: I mean, I did use paragraphs. I cut a couple words out to do it too.

2 paragraphs for the first two and three for the third

Awesome! I guess paragraphs will work then.

Yep. Perchance even adding a line break between each paragraph would be nice.

I valued my left over characters so much that I didn’t even think of wasting 1 (or is it 2) for line breaks b/w paragraphs.

where would the mini apple be devaaki? … upstate NY? ok maybe not;;

You really can’t do much with the 6-8 characters that are left over. Seriously. If you are that desperate for an extra lame adjective like “extra” and “lame” and “nice” and “very”, then maybe you need to reconsider your writing style. :P

Personally, I think it’s worth it to add line breaks to emphasize the structure of your essay - better than a superfluous word, when a short one will do.

I really needed EVERY SINGLE word I could get, but I still made enough free characters to put a line break. I think the line break is worth more…

EDIT: I cut “disappearing” and “unexpected” so they were a lotta characters =)

For me, I made all of my short essays single paragraphs. They were all one continuous idea, so natually, I made them just a single paragraph. Am I crazy, because it sounds like everyone else is putting in things like line breaks and paragraphing on a 1600-character essay?

Maybe you just have a lot to say about the topic, chilltown.

How do you get breaks into the plain text – mine just comes out one long blob even if I put returns or spaces in
