To Register or Not Register?

Hey guys,
AP registration season has begun at my school, and well I’m still debating on whether or not to take the exam for AP World.
On our multiple choice, I’m pretty consistent, scoring high 50s/low 60s out of 70s in the MCQS.
The essays are where I struggle. A lot.
My highest grade on an essay is a 4/7, not too impressive. I’ve been reviewing excessively, but my scores don’t seem to being going up!

Based on this, do you guys think I have a realistic chance of scoring a 5?

And do you guys have any tips on writing the essays?

Muchos Gracias!

Yeah, I think you’ve got enough time to review and score a 5. Even if you get a 4, it’ll be worth it. Besides, its cheaper to register now and cancel later then to pay the late registration fee.

I’d take it. I’m not sure if this is still the case, but when I took the test, multiple choice was worth a bit more than the essays (55% MC, 45%Essays). Since there’s 10000 years of history to write about, they’re pretty easy on the essays. Also, once you start the test, you’ll realize that you know more than you thought. And you can easily BS stuff on the essays. The 2008 CCOT covered 1400 years and an entire continent, so I wrote that the Chinese invented paper money sometime within that time period and I got a 5. ^_^
