I’ve taken the ACT before a while ago, but can get my scores up a couple of points. Problem is most of the schools I’m applying to require the ACT plus writing, but since I’m international, I can’t take it any other date than October or April (I’m a senior). I wanted to get ACT scores in case my SAT scores from last Saturday didn’t turn out - but I’m not sure what to do about that writing option. Would colleges see my ACT score and then use my SAT writing score if my ACT scores turn out the higher of the two?

So basically, is there any point in my taking the ACT this Sat given I can’t take the writing option and the colleges I’m applying to require it (even though I’ll submit both SAT and ACT scores)?
