<p>Do you need to buy the Global Dialogues textbook? The syllabus has readings from the Theater in your Life textbook but not the Global Dialogues book, so I don’t want to buy it if it’s unnecessary.</p>
<p>My son is enrolled in Theatre 100 for the fall semester. He bought both books, since it seems that the Prof. uses both books. Go onto ANGEL, the Prof has outlined the entire semester. You read one play a week (which is in one of the books) and you read one chapter a week (which is in the other book). FYI- if this is the same section as my son, you only go to class Mon and Wed. Instead of a class on Friday, you take a quiz on-line and a survey on-line (which appears to take only 10-15min)…the rest of the time you can read the assigned chapter.</p>
<p>Yeah, I read through the information on ANGEL as well. It seems like the Global Dialogues book is just a collection of the plays we have to read, and if it is, then I don’t have to buy the book because I have most of those plays in my own collection already. If your son has already received the book, could you tell me if it’s just a transcript of all those plays, or if it is something more?</p>
