To transfer from SLU to Cornell, or to stay =/

Hi All,

I’m currently a sophomore at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY (about 7 hours upstate from NYC…it’s a trek!) While I love the school and have made great friends here, I feel as if the liberal arts education has lost it’s appeal to me. My classes are becoming slightly repetitive, and the limited majors frustrate me. I have decided that I want to go into Food Marketing and Management, and Cornell has a particularly good program. I have a pretty solid resume, holding a position as Student Life Chair and a viable candidate for VP of Student Government in the spring. My stats are :

High School : 3.55 GPA
SAT’s : 1400, 2070 (770 Math, 670 Writing, 630 Reading)
SLU Freshman Year GPA : 3.63 (3.83 last semester, 3.333 first semester)

wellllllll we hate your hockey team so… you know. just kidding. if you can keep your gpa up, i see no reason not to try. which major would you be applying for?
