Our valedictorian was accepted to MIT but is going to USC for the B.A./M.D. program on a full ride.

thought i’d give both vale and salu.

this year: cornell(v) and MIT(s)
last year: duke(v) and duke(s) (i think…)
previous year: duke(v) and princeton(s)

EA to MIT.

Val - HPM
Sal - HP

Accepted:
Harvard
Princeton
Yale
Columbia
Cornell
Penn
Dartmouth
Brown
Swarthmore
and a few more I forget. I know she had no rejections or waitlistings though.

No idea where she is attending yet.

The past few years our Vals have gone to:
-Brown
-Harvard
-Yale
-U Penn.

-This year I think the person is between Yale and Brown

Last year: 1 went to Yale, another to BU (full ride)
This year: 1 is going to UPenn, the other I don’t know

My school always seems to have a tie (UW GPA) for Valedictorian. =/ We’ll see about next year though.

Hmm, well, you can check my post history for the list of schools, but I’m going to Princeton.

Accepted at Caltech and Princeton. Most likely attending Caltech.

I’m my school’s val – if we still had class rank.

I got accepted to Chicago, Colorado, Cornell, Dartmouth, Georgetown (Walsh SFS), Harvard, Northwestern, Penn (Huntsman), Princeton, and Stanford.

I’ll be going to Harvard.

The salutatorian this year is going to Dartmouth.

2009: University of Washington (rejected from Stanford)
2008: Stanford (salutatorian went to Chicago)
2007: Colorado

So far I know of the valedictorians at my school being admitted into Michigan State University and local community college ( due to a engineering program at my high school in which they transfer to MSU). Other students admitted elsewhere were not val’s.

No ranking, but

Top girl (international applicant): Amherst, (waitlisted at) Dartmouth
Top guy (me, not international): Cornell, U. of Minnesota [Twin Cities], Tulane, BU

wow… I’m from a Podunk town and valedictorian, yet rejected to those lovely Ivys (Yale, Harvard) and Stanford. Sucks to live in such a small town in a school offering a total of 5 AP classes

Though, I’ll be heading to USC.

We have over 10 “valedictorians” at our school. In our school, all students with a 4.0 GPA or more (weighted) are considered “valedictorians.” That’s over 10 speeches… hahah Thank goodness I’m one of them (going to UPenn).

The other “valedictorians”: Vassar, WUSTL, Providence, Cal Poly SLO, Creighton, USC, Kauai Community College :), University of Hawaii, U San Francisco, etc.

uhhh Vanderbilt, Stanford, Rice, Cornell, Notre Dame, and probably some others

my school’s valedictorian is siiick. she’s so cool, and she totally earned everything she got, she sacrificed so much in high school to get where she is now, props to her, but a hard decision

she got into:
MIT
Stanford
Harvard
Princeton
Yale
Penn
Columbia
Brown
Johns Hopkins
Duke
Vassar
Williams
Wellesley

and I think more that I don’t know about. but those are the big ones. She’s narrowed it down to the MIT & the Ivies. She’s visiting like every school within the next two weeks idk how she’ll decide haha

As far as I know:

Stanford
Rice
Harvard
Princeton
UC’s, of course
Waitlisted from MIT
Deferred from Yale early admission…I don’t know what happened after that.

And then, other than that, the top 5 people in my school got into Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, etc. Very proud of them :)

My valedictorian went to the same school as me, actually. A second-rate UNC-system school (UNCC). Pretty surprising, as like the entire top 20% went to UNC Chapel Hill. o.o

Very odd. Guess she likes the free rent. :p

2005: University of Virginia
2006: University of Virginia
2007: Emerson College
2008: University of Virginia
2009: University of Alabama (he was a National Merit Scholar)
2010: Accepted to various small schools in Virginia, as well as the U. of Virginia. She has not decided where she will attend.

Yale University.
