Umm…I’ll just do the top 1% of my class…we do have a Val, but really the top four are all pretty awesome(out of over 400!)

Got into Lehigh(attending), Pitt, WL at Hopkins and Penn

Cornell ED

Smith(attending), Union, University of Alabama…WLed Scripps, rejected at Yale

University of Pittsburgh

last year there were 3 tied for valedictorian. One is going to Harvard, the other is going to Yale, and I never heard of anything for the third. Out of the other students in the school, one is going to UPenn, and someone is going to Stanford.

This year, the valedictorian got into Harvard.
The salutorian, who I think is the new valedictorian, got deferred from Harvard,
but got into Duke, Princeton, UPenn, and probably every other college he applied to.
Two other kids from the school got into Harvard. Another girl got into MIT and Princeton.

4 went to Duke (but passed away from leukemia, tragically)

Also #4 went to MIT
From '09:
Valedictorian went to FSU Honors (I know…right? o_O)
From '10:
Val wanted to go to Princeton. Was rejected. No kids into the ivies this year for my school!

2009-
Valedictorian: Lehigh (accepted at Carnegie Mellon and Penn State-Schreyer, waitlisted at Princeton and Columbia)
Salutatorian: Notre Dame

We also had 1 Harvard, 1 Princeton, 2 Penns, 2 Dukes, 2 Georgetowns, and 4 Johns Hopkins. Half of them are lacrosse players. It helps to have a top 5 lax team in the nation.

Oh wow!! that is amazing!! i feel kind of embarrassed (not really lol) but my valedictorian, although have a 4.5 GPA, got only a 21 ACT and will probably go to FIU. Curse you ACT lol.

the student with the highest GPA in our class (5.6) will probably attend St. John U in NY. it will be free for her.

the girl with the highest GPA last year (5+) attend UF. (i think she got accepted to John Hopkins, not too sure).

a few years back, the highest GPA student got accepted to Princeton but ended up going to FIU ( i know right, really?!!). Another one settle for Miami-Dade Honors college, although her GPA was super high.

i think most of these decisions had to have money involve (or a really strict parent) which is just a shame.

My school is divded up into six clusters so we have six Vals. Out of the ones I know…
One is going to Amherst.
One to MIT.
Another to Texas A&M
and the other two to UT-Austin I believe.
