To Work or Not to Work?

Is it generally advised to work during college? If I do take up an offer through workstudy or elsewhere, I’ll have nearly zero debt when I graduate, whereas if I do not work, my debt will be up to a couple thousand dollars. Is it worth the additional stress, or should I just wait till after college, when I have stable income? I’m majoring in CS, so can I realistically expect to get a job that pays 70k+ after college?

A couple thousand dollars is nothing for a CS major. Focus on doing whatever you can to get a top job after college.

It’s just a couple of thousands… unless it hits over 10k+, I wouldn’t be worried. I mean you’ll be making like 7x that amount later on. Unless you want to work for experience/ have the time for it, I think it’d be better to have time for your CS projects.
