Going to nag my boys ASAP!

Kat

That was unbelievably moving…

Thanks, tsdad.

I feel rather foolish, as we have a family friend whose son discovered he had TC over Christmas break of his freshman year. Two years later, he is doing great. But did I think to mention it to my sons? Duh.

Please tell your sons!!!
TC is rare, but most varieties are very treatable, sperm banking is well established so future fertility can be preserved, etc, etc. It is just a matter of getting the word out to young men to do self-examination, and don’t ignore what you find.

And we’ve been talking about testicular cancer on CC for 3 years. http://www.collegeconfidential.com/discus/messages/70/29116.html

A friend’s 22 year old son was just diagnosed. Thanks for the reminder.

Just emailed the article to my son. Thanks.
