TOEFL score for pton

hey, im an international and i took the TOEFL on oct 31st and have now got my results. I have scored 110 with a lower writing score than i expected. Now my question is if it is worth retaking it? I still have to take the SAT 2s and to finish preparing my essay. If I understood the TOEFL test in any way then I think that improving my scores at this level would require much time and work. So even though I am of course willing to put in as much effort as necessary, would you recommend re-taking it?
thank you for replying and helping me out…

ps would a high score on the writing section on the SAT 1 make any difference (i am pretty confident that ill score above 700 there)

pps i am german native speaker, and i started learning english in high school if that is of any importance (what i am trying to say is that english is not like the main language spoke, read or written in my country, like in scandinavia)

your toefl score is stil ok. its not really considered. wat matters are ur ECs, SAT, SAT II, App essays and recommendations. Just concentrate on ur SAT I&II and u’d b good 2go.+2have a really good chance…ur SAT must be top notch…say above 700 in each section. That’d give u a big lift as u r an international applicant. Its not easy though bt do ur best…u neva knw. 4SAT II…KIL IT

thanks, yh i know i took the SAT 1 in nov and im really anxious about the scores… im probably going to retake it in january (i have signed up for the subject tests in dec…). i so want to get into pton, i am actually here now (my family lives here because my father teaches here) and i am auditing some lectures, they are awesome, the campus is beautiful, i love the people, and it is like the best education i could imagine!!! i love it!!

study wel and write fantastic essays. Show princeton u got “stuff”. u’d definitely b in. GOOD LUCK!!!

thank u soooo much, actually that was the kind of encouragement i needed X)

If you can get 700+ in SAT I CR and W, you clearly have the English skills you’ll need for Princeton. I wouldn’t worry too much about your TOEFL.

if your father teaches at princeton, that’s a big plus.
