So sad. I hate that the Iraq and Afghanistan veterans are invisible to so many Americans.

I know on this board there are a few veterans.
My oldest who is just a couple years younger than Tomas has several friends from high school who served.
Her husband is a veteran and my brother retired from the AirForce a few years ago.
No veteran should be without medical care/ homeless.

Today, the 11th day of the 11th month, is a day to remember the veterans who did not come home, remember those who did come home with physical and emotional scars, those who came home and will take leadership roles in their community, the families who waited, prayed, supported and carried on with their lives so that thier loved one could follow their orders and complete their mission, for those in the medical field who care for wounded veterans and a prayer that this nation will always remember and appreciate the sacrifices of those who served.

Thank you from a veteran.
