Anybody watching? I love theater so I am enjoying. Have decided that I need to see s show in NYC at least once a year. .
Looks like maybe the teleprompter was messing up when JLo and those other two presenters were trying to introduce the Finding Neverland number. If not, doesn’t speak well for their ability to read!
I’m watching! Having seen many of the shows and nominated actors, it’s always fun to watch. Always the most entertaining awards show.
I watched a little last night. I really want to see Fun House.
Me too, FallGirl! The number they performed was beautiful.
I also thought the performance of “Ring of Keys” from Fun Home was just stunning and can’t wait to see the show (saw Something Rotten recently–fun, but not really memorable-and excited to see The King & I next month).
I couldn’t get over how lovely Jennifer Lopez appeared in classy dress, hair and makeup as compared to her usual high-priced hooker look.
I was lucky to see Fun Home just last Tuesday. It was awesome and amazing, one of the finest and most thrilling evenings that I have spent at the theatre in a long time. It is so beautifully staged and presented. Sydney Lucas the little girl is amazing, what a stage presence. Michael Cerveris is a longtime favorite of mine and his Tony was well deserved. It is a wonderful outstanding ensemble.
carnegie mellon dominates the tonys
Carnegie Mellon is one of the top drama colleges in the US. While some who won Tonys attended there, I would not go so far as to say they DOMINATE the Tonys. Here is a list of where this year’s Tony winners went to college:
soozievt, i was not hating on the other schools.I just think that CMU has really solidified itself as the leader of theater/acting etc…
not to mention computers, engineering, business etc… I am a big fan of the school but not to the exclusion of other great schools.
