<p>I just saw on the news that he died today of colon cancer.</p>
<p>I’m absolutely devastated by this news. Our family welcomed him into our homes every night on Fox News. He was like a member of the family. And, made such an incredible contribution to jounalism and later to politics. He seemed like a great guy. And, to pass away at such an early age. Simply tragic.</p>
<p>He showed a lot of class and was first to make a mundane conference a media event. Commentators also remarked that he came in at a particular tough juncture during the Bush presidency and brought some stability to the news conference and public perception of what’s going on. In fact I wouldnt mind it if he run for office of some kind. Its a moot point now.</p>
<p>I didn’t agree with his politics but I am stunned at how quickly he passed and am deeply saddened for his wife and children. He was too young to die. We have got to find a cure for colon cancer.</p>

<p>yorkyfan, You expressed my thoughts perfectly. It is really sickening that such a vital man was destroyed by this disease. I understand that he left three children. </p>
<p>We need much more funding for all cancers.</p>
<p>Actually, we need the computer chip that will alter the bad genes and eradicate cancer and other such diseases entirely. It is in the works.</p>
<p>R.I.P. I respected Tony Snow & enjoyed his work.</p>
<p>I just read that NY Yankee great Bobby Murcer lost his brain cancer battle. I had a long cry over his passing. Growing up, he was my favorite athlete & a great guy.</p>
<p>I find it so sad that his mom passed away from colon cancer when Tony was only 17, and now his kids share the same experience, and potentially the same genetic time bomb. :(</p>
<p>I was shocked when I read that Tony Snow had died. His cancer had slipped to the very back of my mind–I had almost forgotten–so I was very, very taken aback when I saw that headline. He seemed like a great guy. My thoughts are with his wife and children.</p>
