See, the problem is that many of my friends with similar or even better stats are applying there, does that affect my chance of being admitted? Also, do I have enough safeties and matches?

i would say that your stats are good enough to have a legitimate shot at getting in. pomona is kind of quirky though. since they are a very small school, they really dig deep into the application to determine what kind of student you are/will be… i would say that your personal essay and teacher rec’s will ultimately decide the issue for you… one slight negative is your west coast status. of course, it is not a deal breaker as pomona takes a lot of west coasters, but a similar student applying from a different part of the country might have an advantage as pomona tries to further its geographic profile. good luck to you, and i’m sure that you will have several choices among the schools that you listed.

You’ve got some strong credentials. To answer your question, no it’s not too far of a reach. As long as you’ve applied to matches and safeties where you’ll be happy as well, you should be all set.

Good luck!

I agree. It is a reach but not an unreasonable one. The fact that you’re applying ED can’t hurt either. (I’m applying ED too btw) good luck!!
